Description
A private optometry practice in Brenham, Tx has an opening for experienced front desk personnel.

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, dependable, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and customer service skills for long-term employment.

Experience at the front desk in an optometry, dental, or medical facility is desired. Experience answering phones, scheduling patients, or gathering patient & insurance information is also desired. Full-time, Monday thru Friday only.

Tasks and skills for the position include:

  • Friendliness in greeting patients and answering phones
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients in verbal and brief written communication
  • Taking complete & concise messages to forward to fellow staff or doctors
  • Gathering critical personal and insurance information from patients
  • Assessing the type of exam a patient is in need of and scheduling appropriately
  • Good computer skills
