About the Position
As a key member of our management team, the 'Scheduling Manager' assigns staff to clients according to their needs as identified in the Plan of Care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate inhome support services between Caregivers and Care receivers.
- Responsible for scheduling shifts, while matching the Care receiver needs with the right Care giver using our proprietary software and smart managerial judgment.
- Oncall responsibility to ensure that clients are cared for in off hours. Must be flexible with work schedule and oncall duties, including weekends and evenings.
- Taking phone calls of prospective clients and diligently explaining the services offered.
- Meticulously noting client requirements and following up with Caregivers for appropriate client notes using company's software.
- Managing confidentiality of information.
- Developing strong camaraderie and working relationship with our Caregivers team.
- Ensure Caregivers follow company policies, procedures, and state licensing laws.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to function well under pressure, making sound decisions and maintaining a professional balance between urgency of tasks and a calm demeanor.
- Play an active role in recruitment, hiring and business development activities.
- Experience working a Medical or Non-Medical setting with a Home Care or Home Health agency is a big plus.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2year college degree or related experience in client/customer service. 4year college degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 year of scheduling in a medical or nonmedical Home care environment
- Above average understanding of MS Office
- Outlook, Excel, and Word
- MailChimp, Canva experience a PLUS.
- Ability and aptitude to learn. Experience with Healthcare scheduling systems (i.e. WellSky, Google) is a big PLUS.
- Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
