Summary

Duties

  • Implement existing lesson plans in a way that ensures the integrity of academic time and motivates students to learn and participate.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children.
  • Create a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Perform classroom management duties, ensuring children are supervised at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents about daily activities and behavioral observations.
  • Follow and uphold all safety and health regulations.

Requirements:


  • UptoDate Department of Children and Families (DCF) clearance.
  • Clean criminal background check.
  • Current CT OEC required Adult Medical Statement signed by a healthcare provider.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across different age groups and settings.
  • Care 4 Kids Federal Health and Safety Orientation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
