Pay Range:
$90-$95,000 annually


Schedule:8am to 4pm M-F

***: Regional Manager provides programmatic oversight and administrative supervision of preschool Early Intervention services in an assigned region in the City of Philadelphia. This position will work in conjunction with other Regional Managers on city-wide initiatives in order to ensure consistent implementation. Develops and implements strategic plans that are consistent with Elwyn's Early Learning Services strategic mission and vision.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensures daily operations for the assigned region including intake, Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (MDE), Administration, Service Coordination, Data, Billing, service providers and contractors, Parent Partners
  • Reviews regional data and outcomes, provides ongoing feedback regarding performance indicators, develops team goals, targets, and develops improvement plans as needed
  • Collaborates with directors across regions to ensure consistency and cohesion of policies, services, etc.; develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure services are delivered utilizing best practices
  • Serves as a resource and liaison to provide direction and guidance to the regional team
  • Maintains knowledge of developmental disabilities, Early Learning Standards, best practice, and current research
  • Maintains regular communication with community agencies, referral sources (including Head Start, ECE, School District), parents and caregivers, and funding sources
  • Conducts regular supervision meetings to ensure consistency in service delivery and implementation of regional policies and procedures
  • Develops, provides and works with professional development to ensure relevant training for regional teams
  • Monitors timelines and compliance for all services and develops corrective action plans as needed
  • Provides supervision of assigned staff in the areas including, but not limited to, recruitment, selection, leadership, coaching, training, performance management, promotion, discipline and termination
  • Ensures maximization of Access billing
  • Ensures program and staff development activities, including retention and recruitment of staff
  • Participates in budget preparation, and review, and monitors expenditures in conjunction with the fiscal team
  • Ensures the implementation of culturally competent services and supports to families and children within assigned region
  • Participates in the dispute resolution process
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Multi-Disciplinary Evaluators, Early Intervention Coordinators, Administrative Site Coordinators

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or Human Services; Master's Degree preferred
  • Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Special Education or Early Childhood preferred
  • Seven (7) years' experience in an educational setting developing, writing and implementing IEPs, preferably in early childhood
  • Five (5) years' supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage largescale projects and implementation across a department or region, which includes monitoring and oversight of outcomes
  • Working knowledge of hiring practices and employee disciplines
  • Working knowledge of budget process
  • Understanding of early childhood development principles and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions
  • Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record
  • Bilingual/multicultural skills a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
