    Job DescriptionFull-Time OR Part-Time Hygienist - Generous Pay + Medical, 401k, and Paid Time Off (GARDNER, MA 01440)Join Javad Mirzai DMD PLLC in providing high-quality dental care to the community. We are looking for a registered full or part-time dental hygienist, who is friendly, has attention to detail, and wants to be part of an amazing family team.     Dental Hygienist Qualifications / Skills:

    Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree preferred

    State-registered Dental Hygienist

    1+ years in a dental office

    Experience with EMR (electronic medical records and), medical terminology a plus

    Dental Hygienist Job Responsibilities:

    • Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, charting conditions of decay and disease, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
    • Prepares treatment room for patients by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
    • Prepares patients for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patients
    • Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.
    • Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession, and exposing and developing radiographic studies.
