Description
We are currently seeking a shipbuilding methodologist (m/f/d) for the equipment of cruise ships for a renowned company in Wismar, starting as soon as possible.
Your responsibilities as a shipbuilding methodologist (m/f/d) include:
- Developing methods for the production and assembly of equipment components in collaboration with design, production, and suppliers
- Typical examples of equipment components to be processed include:
- Equipment for the ship's engine room, such as thrusters, engines, modules, pumps, valves, pipes, and floor plates
- Equipment for the superstructure, such as pipes, cable trays, and air ducts
- Cables and electrical/electronic components
- Equipment for the boat deck, including boats, davits, and handrails
- Installation and connection of finished cabins and balconies
- Elevators and lift machinery rooms
Your experience and interests ideally lie in several of these areas.
- Defining which phase of the shipbuilding process each equipment part is installed in (e.g. during section outfitting or during the ship's dry dock period)
- Determining the assembly sequence of equipment components
