Description

We are currently seeking a shipbuilding methodologist (m/f/d) for the equipment of cruise ships for a renowned company in Wismar, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities as a shipbuilding methodologist (m/f/d) include:

Developing methods for the production and assembly of equipment components in collaboration with design, production, and suppliers
Typical examples of equipment components to be processed include:
- Equipment for the ship's engine room, such as thrusters, engines, modules, pumps, valves, pipes, and floor plates
- Equipment for the superstructure, such as pipes, cable trays, and air ducts
- Cables and electrical/electronic components
- Equipment for the boat deck, including boats, davits, and handrails
- Installation and connection of finished cabins and balconies
- Elevators and lift machinery rooms

Your experience and interests ideally lie in several of these areas.

Defining which phase of the shipbuilding process each equipment part is installed in (e.g. during section outfitting or during the ship's dry dock period)
Determining the assembly sequence of equipment components
