As Category Manager Ingredients (m/w/d) at Kirkville, you will take on the group-wide responsibility for the strategic procurement of selected food raw materials (e.g. fruit juice concentrates, fruit preparations, cultures) and closely coordinate with other (international) purchasing locations.

What can you expect?

  • You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the material groups under your responsibility
  • You continuously monitor and evaluate your national and international procurement markets and develop corresponding procurement strategies together with your relevant stakeholders
  • You independently identify potential for optimization and pragmatically implement it
  • You are responsible for independently conducting tenders, leading complex negotiations with an international supplier base, and concluding purchasing contracts
  • You are the contact person for all stakeholders on purchasing-related topics, such as business units. You also contribute to short-, medium-, and long-term budget and material planning and drive innovation forward

What should you bring?

  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, food technology, or a comparable education
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the field of food raw materials or in the food industry
  • You have strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a high level of motivation
  • You are communicative, enjoy working in
