The LWL-Klinik Dortmund has 605 planned beds and treatment places for psychiatry and psychotherapy / psychosomatic medicine.

It is also connected to a residential complex for disabled individuals, a care center with a total of 325 places, and the LWL-Rehabilitationszentrum Ruhrgebiet.

With the LWL-Klinik Hemer, there is a regional network with an economic and administrative service for the LWL-Klinik für Forensische Psychiatrie Dortmund.
