Job Summary

The
After
School
Sports Instructor is responsible for executing the i9 Sports after school programs within Fullerton and Buena Park Elementary schools.

Creating great moments while teaching sports and also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the program.

This role has a direct impact on schools, teachers, players, parents, everyday.

Responsibilities

Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players
Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
Manage an ageappropriate level of instruction and competition
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Report to the the Sports Coordinator
You feel good bringing happiness and joy to others

Qualifications

Verbal & communication skills
Sportspecific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
Highly motivated selfstarter; can work independently, solve problems and be proactive
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Ability to work at least 3 days a week for 12 hours a day and possibly every Saturday from 7am2pm
Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Must be able to lift 1025 lbs to set up sports equipment on the field
