Purpose:

The Instructional Designer Manager is responsible for creating and enhancing engaging and effective learning experiences for employees.

This role involves collaborating with various teams to design, implement, and manage innovative learning programs that align with the organizational goals.

The Manager, Learning Experience will play a pivotal role in ensuring employees receive high-quality, impactful, and user-centered learning opportunities.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Manage the Learning Experience Design team, providing guidance, identifying resources, coaching, and work planning.
  • Ensure a collaborative relationship between Learning Experience Designers and all departments to ensure the design and timing meet requirements.
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive learning experiences that incorporate a variety of formats, including elearning modules, simulations, videos, job aids, virtual sessions, and more.
  • Advocate for a learnercentric approach, ensuring that learning experiences are designed with the needs and preferences of the learners in mind.
  • Use technology to enhance the learning experience, including videos, infographics, interactive modules, and assessments to create an immersive learning experience.
  • Incorporate feedback loops and continuous improvement mechanisms to enhance the learner's experience.
  • Leverage learning management systems and other relevant technologies to deliver and track learning experiences.
  • Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Develop methods to assess the effectiveness of learning experiences through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on emerging learning technologies and trends to enhance the learning experience.
  • Coordinate the rollout of learning programs, including scheduling, communication, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with facilitators, trainers, and speakers to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions about program improvements and modifications.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders to enhance the quality of learning experiences.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize learning outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:


  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.
  • Proficiency in using elearning authoring tools, multimedia software, and learning management systems.
  • Excellent creative, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess learning outcomes and make datadriven decisions.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with crossfunctional teams.
  • Innovative and forwardthinking approach to learning design and delivery.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Five (5) years' training or teaching experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years' learning experience design experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Learning Experience Designer, Learning Experience Manager, or similar role.

Pay:
$95, $105,000.00 per year
