- Conduct detailed, complex engineering activities associated with engineering systems, capabilities, and activities,
- Functional and system level requirements analysis, requirements generation and technical community review,
- System engineering design, performance, analysis, operational experience for military applications,
- Development of system engineering products including: the definition, functional allocation, design development, testing, integration, and operational performance, and
- Development of total system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with NSWC Dahlgren Division and Department staff at all levels, consultants, and other government staff – be a team player,
- Ability to work with sensitive and classified information,
- Ability to work with NMCI systems,

- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including good proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills.
- Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) Accredited Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum
- Experience: Ten (10) years of General Surface Navy Combat Systems systems engineering experience (Naval engineering or combat systems engineering)
- Proficient to expert level user of Microsoft Excel, Project, Power Point, and Word, and
- Proficient with Confluence and JIRA tools.
