Position Summary
Practice patient service rep.

proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.

Position Requirements

_Education and Previous Experience_:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

_Hardware/Software Experience_:

Practice management/medical billing computer programs.
Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)

_Other Characteristics_:

Excellent oral/written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Detailed oriented
Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections)
Flexible; able to adapt to change
Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus

Location:
RUSH Copley Medical Center - Plastic Surgery

Schedule:
Part-time, First shift with one evening per week and rotating Saturdays, M,T, Th 8am-4:30pm, W,F 8am-12pm
