- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor model performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain and improve output quality.
- Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, LLMs, and machine learning techniques. Propose and implement innovative approaches to enhance our AI solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and customer engagement teams to understand client needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, algorithms, and data analysis processes. Prepare reports on model performance, insights, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a strong focus on large language models.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python and libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Strong background in data preprocessing, model training, and fine-tuning techniques specific to LLMs.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Data Science Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions at Blue Yonder. The focus of this role is on LLM fine-tuning including the customizing and optimizing of large language models to meet the specific needs of our end users including both paying customers and internal customers.
As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data science, machine learning, and software engineering, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
