What you will do with us
- Manage the administration and development of our highly available Windows and Linux server systems as part of the life cycle and patch management, as well as software deployment
- Set up, maintain, and further develop directory services such as ActiveDirectory & LDAP
- Take responsibility for our virtualization environment, such as Xen, KVM, and VMware
- Monitor performance and availability and provide 2nd-level support for troubleshooting, involving other service providers as needed (3rd-level support)
- Design and implement interfaces in complex IT systems
- Advise and support our departments in configuring and implementing security policies, security best practices, and hardening measures
- Automate regular maintenance tasks
What you bring with you
- Relevant degree in computer science, communication or electrical engineering, or a completed vocational training with relevant work experience and willingness to continue learning
- Extensive professional experience in IT infrastructure, including administration of Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix servers
- Additional knowledge in working with virtualization solutions (Xen, KVM, VMware) and directory services (ActiveDirectory, LDAP)
