- Serve as a Case Manager for 25 students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Provide direct instruction and support in both general and special education settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to differentiate instruction and implement accommodations.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on the caseload.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Valid California Special Education/Education Specialist Instruction Credential to serve scholars with mild/moderate disabilities (including Autism authorization), or Valid California Clinical Services Credential with a special class authorization or equivalent.
- Three years or more of classroom teaching experience, preferably including both regular and special education across a variety of grade levels.
- Knowledge of and competence in meeting the requirements set by the Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing.
