We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion, while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, objectives, and success criteria.

Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Effectively communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive team culture.

Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to optimize project delivery.

Conduct project post-mortems to evaluate project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Mentor and coach junior project managers, providing guidance and support to develop their project management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors and 18 years or more of related experience.

Must be IRS cleared.

Must be U.S Citizen

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in project management software and tool

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
