Zandra's Taqueria is Hiring a Restaurant Lead Manager

Established in 2014, Zandra's Taqueria has locations in Old Town Manassas and Haymarket, actively engaging with the community throughout Northern Virginia.

Summary of the Position:

The Restaurant Lead Manager is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. This role involves maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and health and safety, reporting to the Executive Team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate all restaurant operations.
Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Manage compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
Share daily log reports with the Executive Management Team.
Handle employee discipline and terminations in collaboration with the Human Resources Director.
Provide feedback and manage staff effectively.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Welcome and assist customers with menu choices.
Train and motivate staff and managers.
Create and manage weekly staff schedules.
Recruit, select, orient, and train employees in coordination with the HR Director.
Manage inventory, purchasing, and business performance.
Analyze sales levels and plan for profitability.
Implement marketing programs to attract patrons.
Maintain professional knowledge of industry trends.
Perform opening and closing procedures.
Maintain restaurant equipment.
Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

Availability to work at both the Manassas and Haymarket locations as per the restaurant schedule.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Minimum 2 years of experience with restaurant POS systems and online delivery apps.
3 years of full-service restaurant experience.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently.
Physical ability to lift and move items in a restaurant environment.
High integrity and strong work ethic.
Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work long hours, evenings, and weekends.
Food handler's and/or alcohol certification may be required.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Experience in both Front and Back of the House operations.
Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
