VDOT's Fredericksburg District has exciting an opportunity available in its Preliminary Engineering Department. We are seeking qualified candidates to fill a District Engineer Project Development vacancy.
This position provides oversight of the complex operations of the Preliminary Engineering unit including transportation planning, survey, roadway design, environmental, and project management.
They offer strategic leadership to VDOT's transportation program, and build partnerships with various levels of government, elected officials, non-profit and private sector groups, and employees.
