PRIMARY PURPOSE:


Pay range:
$71,000-$100,000 per year. This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set.
***This position provides general budgeting and administrative expertise for regional field operations with particular emphasis on accounts payable. A key component of this position is to incorporate the Lawson system into the regional accounts payable process and to oversee budgeted versus actual expenditures.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Budget:


  • Initiates all Major Maintenance job numbers and requests Capital job numbers as needed for region projects. Ensures corporate and region authority limits and procedures are followed.
  • Manages smaller region officerelated capital or major maintenance projects and manages other region level projects as assigned. Prepares cost projections, processes and analyzes bids, oversees budget control and reporting, and reviews cash flow.
  • Prepares and reviews cost tracking reports extracted from general ledger or other accounting reports on a monthly basis as well as upon request of Region Director or project manager.
  • Researches, analyzes, recommends, and confirms corrections or changes to accounting entries on general ledger, CWIP and various reports.
  • Researches and analyzes invoices or other charges as needed or upon request of Region Director or project manager. Makes recommendations and resolves discrepancies with vendors.
  • Coordinates and completes annual and updated monthly budget forecasting for various business units and types of budgets.
  • Creates and manages step increase payroll data files for all PNR employees
  • Formulates and implements policies and procedures for the regional accounts payable process.

Fleet:


  • Manages vehicle data, registrations and monthly mileage reporting for all vehicles in region.
  • Coordinates purchase of new vehicles and disposal of old units.
  • Coordinates CMV program at region level.

Miscellaneous:

May include but not limited to the following assignments:

  • Provides basic in-house computer software support and training on various packages including Lawson and PAWS.
  • Maintains and balances region working fund.
  • Trains regions employees on key issues such as Lawson coding, invoice processing, and contract processing
  • Maintains "PSR Administration Handbook" of region policies and procedures. Makes recommendations as needed.
  • Creates and distributes ID badges for PNR employees
  • Coordinates PNR Weekly Report for Director
  • Creates procurement/contract documents such as requests for services, requests for materials, lowrisk agreements and enters data into Lawson as needed

Position Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Education:


  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • College degree a plus

Experience, Specific Knowledge, Certification, Licenses:


  • A minimum of three to five years administrative/accounting/budgeting experience and expertise in accounting software
  • Excellent PC skills; knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook and Access is required
  • A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and current, valid State driver's license are required
