Description
Groesbeck ISD is seeking an energetic individual to facilitate our Ag Mechanics program.

We seek an individual who can join our four-teacher ag team and focus on upper-level ag mechanic projects, construction and trade skills, and student welding certifications.

Provide students with appropriate, safe learning activities and experiences and provide an opportunity to participate in extracurricular agricultural mechanics and carpentry activities.

Plan and assist students with the construction and management of ag mechanics projects to achieve district, regional, and state recognition.

Serve as an advisor to the local FFA Chapter, including planning and conducting leadership, citizenship, cooperative, career development, and competitive activities for students at local, regional, and state levels.


Salary:
(Yearly Board Approved Salary Schedule (depending on years of experience)


Qualifications/Special Skills:


Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university


Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills


Experience:

At least one year of student teaching or an approved internship


Additional:
$1,000 for Masters

$2,000 for Doctorate
