Job Description:


The main task is to evaluate fire protection issues in industrial power plants, health centers, and nuclear facilities within the context of decommissioning or dismantling of nuclear power plants.


The focus is on the following areas:
technical fire protection (e.g. fire alarm systems, extinguishing systems), structural fire protection (e.g. fire compartments, escape routes), and organizational fire protection (e.g. fire protection regulations, inspection instructions).

This includes conducting recurring inspections of fire protection facilities and providing technical expertise in the above-mentioned areas for non-nuclear facilities and international projects.

The role also involves participating in certifications such as BREEAM, LEED, and DGNB.


Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will have a degree (Diploma/Master) in a natural or engineering science field, preferably in safety engineering, process engineering, or mechanical engineering.

They should also have knowledge and/or professional experience in the field of fire protection, ideally in the context of nuclear technology or plant engineering.

Other important qualities include a strong sense of responsibility and familiarity with regulations, as well as a conscientious work style, self-motivation, and a desire to contribute to the safety of many people.
