Job Summary Works under the supervision and direction of the Home-based supervisor for the purpose of providing family centered casework services to families and children involved with DCS/Probation. Includes pre-adoption and post-adoption services. Case Manager should help to safely maintain children in their homes (or foster home); prevent children's initial placement or reentry into foster care; preserve, support, and stabilize families; and promote the well-being of children, youth, and families.
Full and part-time positions available.
Responsibilities
Some areas of responsibility include: home visits, DCS case planning, supervised visitation, conflict management, coordination of services; emergency/crisis services, child development, parenting education, family communication, transportation, team meetings, family reunification/preservation, foster family support, advocacy, family assessment, community referrals and follow-up, time management, behavior modification, meal planning/preparation, and community services.
