Firefly Children & Family Alliance is hiring a
Director of Home-Based Services in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

In this position, you will provide program leadership and oversight to a team of Case Managers and Therapists to ensure positive client outcomes.

This position will lead the program for Allen and surrounding counties. You will oversee an array of service lines that are provided to individuals, children and families involved with DCS. You will report to the Vice President of Home-Based Services.


You Will

:


Leadership (55%)

  • Provide the strategy and goals for the program
  • Work collaboratively alongside a codirector within your service area
  • Ensure grantor / customer satisfaction
  • Ensure staff are meeting work product expectations
  • Hire, develop, hold accountable and if necessary, terminate Program staff
  • Coach & mentor staff through training, inspiration and encouragement
  • Hold staff accountable to service standards and ensure the processes are followed according to program standards
  • Oversee vendors to ensure client information, and inquiries are managed following DCS goals and outcomes
  • Respond to crisis calls from program staff
  • Work within the structure of DCS Region and broker community
  • Collaborate with other agency directors to provide training development, case supervision and carry out program expectations

Relationship Development (25%)

  • Develop & maintain relationships
  • DCS, foster parents, mental health agencies, schools and community agencies collaborate to establish a referral network
  • Provide educational presentations throughout the community to support recruitment
  • Market and sell the program through oneonone interactions

Financials (10%)

  • Oversee billing, budgets and contractual relationships within the program

Reporting (10%)**- Compile and analyze the data for recruitment and retention goals and outcomes

  • Maintain case and agency paperwork according to standards

You Have

:


  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or related field
  • Professional licensure (i.e. LCSW/LMHC) preferred
  • Commitment to family preservation & reunification
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance with six or less points on driving record.
  • First aid and CPR required but can be obtained upon hire
  • Knowledge of and adherence to current confidentiality practices
  • Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences
