Manufacturing Customer Service Coordinator


Job Summary:


An important part of TCI, Inc.'s customer focus, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for interacting with the company's customers by addressing inquiries, following up to resolve complaints, and processing orders.

Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain, the Customer Service Rep develops strong relationships with customers, creating, managing, and documenting orders, in addition to maintaining customer inventory stored at TCI, Inc.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Build strong working relationships with customers.
  • Create bills of material, sales orders, work orders, packing slips, and other required documents.
  • Troubleshoot orders and communicate with internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Organize documents and paperwork in digital and paper formats.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, assisting with their questions and inquiries, following up proactively, and working to address their complaints in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on purchase orders with other internal departments.
  • Maintain client inventory stored at TCI, Inc.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow up skills.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and professionalism while under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a highvolume role in a selfmanaged team environment.
  • Detail oriented and organized, with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer skills in various software.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • At least three years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using Epicor Software preferred.

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time working on a computer and phone.

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
