Job description

A leading construction consulting company is seeking an hourly consultant to assist with site inspections loan monitoring for their commercial projects.

This opportunity offers a flexible schedule.

We look for people that have:

Strong narrative writing and communication skills
Punctual with appointments and deadlines
Computer skills

- including Word, Adobe, Excel

A willingness to be flexible with hours
Understanding of construction materials and workflow
Understanding underground utilities and infrastructure
Min 5years in the commercial construction industry management experience

Responsibilities and Duties
Verifying monthly billings provided by the contractor for each job

This will involve:

Monthly site visits as assigned
Be able to identify conditions that could impact completion of construction project
Ability to document and understand progress
Meeting with onsite representative to review billing, schedule, offsite material, etc.
Walking each job to verify billing is representative of construction completed
Completing report to be submitted to the loan company
Attend monthly meetings onsite, if applicable
