As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.

Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution.

The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario.
  • Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections.
  • Ensures other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available for the customer.
  • Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
  • Utilizes indepth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in a job family group(s)/function(s).
  • Minimum of 4 years of advanced experience in project management and project planning.
  • Minimum of 4 years as lead planner on 2+ projects ensuring cost control on large turnkey projects
  • Minimum of 2 years of indepth domain knowledge of planning and using Primavera

Desired Characteristics:


  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established EPC project management skills.
  • Knowledge of cost control function on large complex turnkey projects
  • Knowledge of forensic analysis on large complex turnkey projects
