Job Summary:


As a System Validation Specialist, you have hands on experience with installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and inspecting monitoring equipment used in healthcare facilities.

The System Validation Specialist will maintain a local stock of necessary parts, ensuring efficient execution of tasks, and will actively engage with customers to provide updates on projects and address service-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Install, set up, and configure monitoring equipment in various healthcare settings, ensuring proper functionality and compatibility.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with monitoring equipment, both onsite and remotely, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on a wide range of electronic and mechanical components within monitoring systems.
  • Calibrate and inspect monitoring equipment to ensure accurate readings and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation to effectively carry out installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Utilize a variety of test meters and diagnostic tools to identify equipment malfunctions and perform accurate assessments.
  • Maintain a wellorganized inventory of parts and supplies required for onsite service, ensuring availability for prompt resolution of issues.
  • Communicate with customers to provide project updates, address servicerelated inquiries, and deliver exceptional customer support.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities within the designated region to fulfill job responsibilities, providing timely and reliable service.

Essential Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or associate degree preferred.
  • Proven experience working with electrical, mechanical, or computer networking equipment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of test meters and diagnostic tools used in electronics and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of interacting professionally with customers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet service deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations within the designated region.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and inventory.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and requirements.
  • As this role involves travel, a valid driver's license, and the capability to operate a company or personal vehicle are essential.
