Material Handler/Expediter - Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery & Pickup of parts/jobs from various CMI buildings & manufacturing cells.
  • Support various departments as needed
  • Accurately complete paperwork
  • Prioritize, schedule, and review work
  • Maintains equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times.
  • Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Work independently with little direction.
  • Meet schedules and time lines.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Forklift Certification (will provide if not certified)

Basic Qualifications:


  • No experience needed, will train
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • 18 yrs or older
  • Ability to work full time
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:


  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires bending, squatting, reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift 3040lbs occasionally and 1530 lbs frequently.
