    Environmental Services Tech I (Housekeeper) at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, United States Job Description Environmental Services Tech I

    Position Summary:

    Works to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition to ensure compliance with established organization standards.

    Reports maintenance deficiencies and complies with safety guidelines and security procedures. The Environmental Services Tech I has a positive, compassionate and customer-service oriented attitude.


    Responsibilities:
    + Provides routine daily cleaning + Cleans and sterilizes operating and sterile procedure rooms + Obtains and utilizes knowledge of materials, chemical, equipment and action processes in cleaning and maintenance of select areas + Stocks closets, service carts and storerooms; maintains cleanliness of equipment and housekeeping closet + Transports waste, recyclables, and biohazard wastes, disposes as appropriate + Arranges Kootenai Health meeting rooms as instructed + Operates heavy cleaning equipment as needed + Performs other related duties as assigned + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field + Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function + Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and

    Minimum Qualifications:
    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Previous housekeeping experience preferred

    Working Conditions:
