Job Description:


  • Planning, organizing, managing, and motivating the team in Wayne, NE
  • Defining and implementing necessary procedures and processes in compliance with aviation laws (e.g. STCs)
  • Providing support to various departments within the company (components, MRO and retrofitting, marketing & sales) as well as external parties (e.g. customer support, AOG)
  • Achieving financial objectives for the division
  • Creating operational plans
  • Integrating the specialist team into the division's organization
  • Participating in divisional strategy development
  • Ensuring accurate calculations and verifications for stress and fatigue in the development of new products and concepts related to structural and equipment design
  • Acting as a CVE and/or technical approver with personal aviation responsibility and indirect liability
  • Maintaining and enhancing the capabilities of the EFW development company 21J

Profile:


  • Completed 4year university degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in aerospace engineering, general mechanical engineering, construction, or lightweight construction
  • Airbus Musterkenntnislehrgang Level 1 (General Familiarization)
  • Regular participation in qualification programs to comply with aviation guidelines and obtain certification
  • Qualification according to QSA 2100
  • Several years of experience in development, design, calculation, qualification, and verification of aircraft interior and structural components, as well as their integration into aircraft equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of A/C documentation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in
