Construction manager for Civil FACTS and HVDC projects - East Berlin, United States - Zenith Ventures
Description
What can you expect?
- You will organize, lead and monitor the work and agreed scope of delivery while adhering to technical and contractual specifications
- You will monitor the progress of construction, track the schedule and take countermeasures or acceleration measures in case of potential delays
- You will control the calculated budget and identify opportunities/risks, actively supporting in change management
- You will create, track and document red entries (as built)
- You will monitor and ensure HSE-compliant execution of work and documentation (contractual and/or country-specific) in coordination with HSE management
- You will be mobile throughout Germany and spend at least 4 days per week on site at the construction site
What should you bring?
- You have completed a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in civil engineering
- You have experience in turnkey/EPC business and ideally experience in the field of HVDC (high-voltage direct current) and/or with FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission System) systems
- You ideally have experience as HSE and/or safety coordinator
- You have excellent German and English skills and are willing to travel worldwide and work on construction sites in Germany and abroad for extended periods of time
