Job Summary
Institutional Data, Analytics + Assessment (IDA+A) seeks a graduate student (at.5 FTE or 20 hours per week) to assist the process by which we evaluate the core curriculum graduation requirement, on behalf of the Undergraduate Curriculum Council (UCC).
The chosen individual will facilitate the established process, communicate the process to dozens of faculty or instructors and their associated department heads plus associate dean, and compile the collected evidence material in a systematic fashion.
The position reports to Bryan Price, assessment specialist, continuous improvement and accreditation, of IDA+A, in the Provost Office. The individual must be able to work via a remote or hybrid (some on-campus meetings) scenario.It is possible for this individual to use data from this experience to fulfill a learning experience (e.g., thesis, dissertation).

This is appointment is expected to last through the entire academic year with the possibility of being renewed for another academic year.
Applicants that expect to graduate after May of 2025 are preferred.Job Duties
_ Duties will include, but not limited to:_
- Facilitating the process by which a faculty member shares the following evidence material:
- latest syllabus,
- answers to questionnaire regarding how learning is assessed along the key skills of the FLO, and
- discussion board post about providing feedback to students.
- Supporting the peer evaluation process (whereby faculty review the above evidence materials by utilizing either a rubric or checklist).
- Staying in constant contact with individual instructors, department heads, associate deans, and other leaders across Purdue University.
- Tracking all communications, submission deadlines, submission or evidence material, and the results from the peer review process.
- Skills and Knowledge
_Preferred skills and knowledge:
_
- The handling of confidential information with discretion. IDA+A has zero tolerance for disclosure of information. Unauthorized disclosure of information will result in immediate termination.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with assessment, accreditation, or continuous improvement processes at the program, school, college or university level(s).
- Experiences in planning or executing accountability exercises related to accreditation (e.g., Higher Learning Commission, ABET, NACE, CAEP, APA).
_Required skills:

- Being able to repeat mundane tasks with consistent zeal.
- Extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Staying organized and being able to prioritize among multiple tasks or duties.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, interpersonal, deliberation, dialogue, etc.).
- The ability to work independently as well as with a diverse groups or individuals.
Education
Must be enrolled in a graduate degree program at Purdue University, West Lafayette.
