    Description
    CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift - Arden - Up to $20.00/hr.

    PrideStaff is recruiting for CNC Machine Operators for 2nd shift for a precision machining company located in Arden.

    Job Summary:Produces hardened parts per specifications, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Operator is also responsible for Thermal Debur operations (Kennametal).

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Perform CNC operations
    • Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
    • Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, work instructions)
    • Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection. If non-conforming, inform department head or supervisor
    • Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
    • Correctly process work via required paperwork
    • Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
    • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
    • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
    • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Minimum of one (1) year CNC milling experience preferred
    • Study and or certifications related to CNC machining preferred
    • Must understand basic shop math
    • Ability to work independently
    • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading (preferred)
    • Basic computer skills
