    Ultrasound Technologist Job Details

    • Location: Ithaca, NY New York healthcare jobs)
    • Facility: Hospital – Imaging Ultrasound Main
    • Assignment Type: Travel Ultrasound Tech
    • Start Date: July 22, 2024
    • End Date: October 21, 2024
    • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
    • Shift: Day shifts, 3x12 hour shifts per week
    • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
    • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2190

    Ultrasound Tech Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required
    • Experience in General Sonography preferred
    • Vascular Sonography experience a plus
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a hospital environment

    Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities

    • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams following hospital and imaging protocols
    • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
    • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results
    • Accurately document and communicate findings in the electronic medical record
    • Deliver compassionate patient care and support throughout the imaging process
