    Ultrasound Tech Job Details

    • Location: Ithaca, NY New York healthcare jobs)
    • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 2, 2024 – September 1, 2024)
    • Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Imaging Ultrasound Main Unit
    • Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist
    • Shift: Variable, 3x12-hour rotating shifts
    • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
    • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,030–$2,190

    Ultrasound Technologist Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer
    • Current ARDMS Sonographer certification required
    • Experience in General Sonography preferred
    • Vascular Sonography experience preferred
    • Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations following hospital and clinical protocols
    • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging and ultrasound equipment
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
    • Accurately document and report sonography findings in a timely manner
    • Assist with patient preparation and provide education regarding ultrasound procedures
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in the imaging department
