    The Position: Occupational Therapist

    The Occupational Therapist administers physician-prescribed occupational therapy to enhance or reduce residual physical impairments in patients. They maintain ongoing communication with physicians, healthcare teams, and other relevant parties to ensure comprehensive care and update on the patient's progress. Collaborating on care plans, making necessary revisions, and liaising with Americare Therapy Services regarding rehab services and patient care are some key responsibilities.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Two (2) years of experience, preferred
    • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by The State of New York
    • Graduate from a physical therapy curriculum approved by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or its successor
    • Ability to demonstrate initiative and exercise independent judgment

    Locations:

    Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Nassau County, Westchester County

    Job Types: Contract, Per diem

    Pay: $75.00 per hour
