Position Summary:


AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in
Lake Charles, LA that is a premier provider of VIP/VVIP interior completions for large aircraft, ranging from B737 and A320 airframes to larger Boeing and Airbus. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing, and delivering aerospace products, services, and solutions to customers on a global scale. Their primary focus is on achieving design excellence and redelivering superior quality products to private entities, government officials, heads of state, and corporate protocol operators.


Essential Job Functions

  • Directs and manages the materials function within the division considering manufacturing capacity, schedules workloads, recommends in house manufacturing vs. outsourcing, quality control and workforce balance.
  • Directs and manages of daily warehouse operations establishing overarching and cascading objectives to move the organization forward and raise the standard of operational excellence, facility wide.
  • Leads all Supply Chain Management activities within the division. This will include establishing preferred supplier selection criteria based on supplier evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, compliance with governmental procurement regulations and group programs.
  • Establish and manage all phases of operations department budgets, including resource utilization, and staffing plans for appropriate skill and labor mix, and expense and capital spending plans, to support improved efficiency of operations for profitable growth.
  • Will develop crisis management and supplier backup contingency programs.
  • Responsible for managing the division operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements.
  • Manage the division's transportation logistics to ensure distribution of products direct to customers, or through distribution centers / warehouses are completed with optimum service at the most efficient cost.
  • Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development.
  • Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.

Requirements:


REQUIRED

  • 57 years' managerial experience in supply chain management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or materials management with certification in supply chain management preferred.
  • Possesses analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
