Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CBRF (Community-Based Residential Facility) caregiver to join our team.

As a CBRF, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting.

Your role will involve assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their independence.


Duties:


  • Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment as needed
  • Support individuals in maintaining their physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Follow individualized care plans and document observations and interventions accurately
  • Promote resident rights, dignity, and respect in all interactions
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Knowledge of CBRF regulations and standards is a plus
  • Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting individual autonomy
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to perform direct support tasks including personal care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Pay:
$ $21.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
