CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create high level requirements for the human-machine interface across multiple platforms, informed by certification guidelines and user insights
Design, scope, and run primary user research studies with test pilots and other target users in the context of general aviation including vehicles and the overall related aviation ecosystem.
Facilitate design research synthesis and collaboratively generate insights and opportunities for product development
Employ both qualitative and quantitative research methods to support design decisions
Creates, evaluates, and modifies prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors Engineering, Usability Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of experience supporting Human Factors design in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar industries
Experience with aircraft avionics systems software and hardware
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree. in Human Factors Engineering,Usability Engineering Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience supporting Human Factors design in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar industries
Certified Associate or Full Human Factors, Ergonomics or User Experience Professional (AHFP, AUXP, AEP, CHFP, CPE, CUXP)
Proven track record in New Product Development with a focus in Human Factors, from concept to production

The base salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 USD a year. Your base salary will be determined on experience and the pay of of employees in similar positions.
