Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be under the direction of the VP of Manufacturing & International Sales. They will be working along with other supervisors overseeing the bag/converting department. This includes dealing with all personnel and job/orders for that department.
As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
You will supervise a team of production workers and provide guidance and support to ensure smooth operations, including hands on production floor.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and procedures
- Train new employees on production processes and safety protocols
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any productionrelated issues
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and scrap rates
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environmen
- Handle all scheduling for department.
- Deal with the department personnel.
- Oversee the Converting department along with other Supervisors.
- Learn the process and eventually handle job/order scheduling.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Any type of manufacturing but be manufacturing.
- Must have management skills, must have strong communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Friday 7:00 am 3:30 pm
Note:
This is a paid position.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
