BASIC FUNCTION

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for maintenance and improvement of resident relations, marketing, and leasing in accordance with SSC standards.

RELATIONSHIPS

• Reports to Operations Manager
• Guidance from Sr. Leasing Consultant
• Maintains and fosters relationships with peers, other departments within SSC, prospects, residents, vendors, and others in the employ of SSC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities listed below are not all inclusive. They indicate the types of responsibilities performed by this position.

• Responsible for leasing, resident relations, and marketing.
• Maintain consistent high customer service standards with residents, team members, vendors, and prospects.
• Model SSC's core values and promote SSC's culture at assigned property.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and SSC policy and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CALP/NALP designation preferred
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• 1 year of industry experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift approximately 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Experience executing day to day operations utilizing specific processes and procedures
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching periodically throughout the day. The activities may include intermittent pulling/pushing, lifting/moving/carrying items of varying weights, climbing stairs, and walking on rooftops. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items of approximately 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to type is required.


Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
