On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Development Engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering in Decatur.
Your responsibilities
- Planning and designing complex systems for measurement technology
- Development of components for serial production and assembly
- Creation of control cabinet layouts, circuit diagrams, and parts and cable lists
- Building prototypes and conducting tests
- Comprehensive project management from development to finished series
- Selection of components based on technical and economic considerations
- Collaboration with suppliers and other departments
Your profile
- A completed degree, for example in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Mechatronics
- Relevant professional experience in development and design of components
- Proficiency in a CAE system (e.g. EPLAN P8) and knowledge of technical standards and regulations
- Expertise in robotics, PLC, and manufacturing technology
- Fluent in German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Independent and solution-oriented work style, as well as a valid driver's license and willingness to travel
