Join our team as a part-time Technology Aide


Cook Memorial Public Library District is seeking a tech-savvy individual with a strong commitment to providing superior library service on our public computers and digital studios.

This is a permanent year-round position.


Hours:

Approximately 12 hours per week. Prefer flexibility to fill in/trade other evening/weekend hours as needed.

  • Tuesday evenings: 59 pm
  • Thursday evenings: 59 pm
  • Saturday mornings: 9 am1 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct workshops and 1on1 appointments on digitizing analog media and setting up recording sessions in the digital studios.
  • Troubleshoot computer and equipment problems.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Desire to learn new technology and digital services
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Internet browsers
  • Skills in studio recording, Logic Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D printing, and/or graphic design a plus
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Reliable and willing to fill in extra hours when necessary
  • Ability to speak Spanish desirable, but not mandatory

Salary and Benefits:
$20.00per hour, 457 savings plan, paid leave, and scheduled holidays.
Cost of living and merit increases.
