Summary:


Provides support to the Marketing Director by performing duties to increase mall traffic and sales, maintains positive merchant and community relations, coordinates in-mall events and digital promotions of the shopping center through social media and mall website.


Responsibilities:


  • Assists Marketing Director when and where necessary.
  • Develops digital promotions and social media concepts.
  • Supervises all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensures a positive customer service experience
  • Tracks the performance and customer engagement on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
  • Establishes relationships/networks of influencers on social media
  • Understands social media trends and implements new technologies
  • Acts as liaison between the center and the local community groups by maintaining a good neighbor campaign. Works with the local chambers of commerce and town/city officials to help represent the mall and our community efforts by participating in events and promotions that will benefit our tenants.
  • Assists the PMG Leasing Representatives through the creation of tailored leasing materials. Maintains and collects updated leasing support information regarding local market conditions such as competition, development, employment, education, tourism, housing, etc.
  • Works alongside the Marketing Director and Advertising Sales Representative to develop creative ideas to promote the shopping center through inmall events and social media/digital promotions.
  • Coordinates and sets up all inmall community events, including Tykes Tuesdays, the Easter Bunny, and Santa setups.
  • Assists in the collection of weekly sales and traffic data from tenants.
  • Must be flexible with a work schedule that could require evening or weekend events. Acts as Manager on Duty on assigned weekends.

Qualifications/Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent education
  • Must possess knowledge of and be able to use and track social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Experience working with public events
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, highenergy environment
  • Possess great organizational skills
  • Must have a positive disposition and the ability to communicate and deal with employees and guests in a respectful manner
  • Must have great writing skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
