Toll International LLC is seeking a dedicated Port Planner for both the New Jersey Marine Terminal (NJMT) and New York Marine Terminal (NYMT).
As a Port Planner, you will play a crucial role in our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Program, aimed at enhancing our ability to assess, maintain, and manage our physical assets across various phases.
Functions:
- Performing project controls including planning, scheduling, cost control, or other project management/control services as required.
- Supporting the Port Departments' asset management project delivery team's improvement initiatives and providing project control and support services to forecast and plan predictive, corrective maintenance, contract work, and vendor services.
- Analyzing data from the integrated program/project control and IBM's Maximo Work Order and reporting systems.
- Developing maintenance schedules and control lists in consultation with stakeholders and the Port Department's asset management team.
- Preparing project control reports, maintenance rosters, and presentations.
- Ensuring that necessary tools, parts, and equipment are available to Port Department personnel to perform maintenance work.
- Collaborating with facilities maintenance management to prioritize maintenance activities to effectively utilize and distribute manpower and resources across the Port Department.
- Coordinating with facilities maintenance management to manage and execute equipment/resource downtime with mínimal impact on business operations.
- Understanding, managing, implementing, and communicating all compliance and code changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science, engineering, construction management, accounting, and related
- Working knowledge of maintenance management, infrastructure management, or asset management issues, including key performance measures for maintenance, management, conditionbased asset management strategies, and asset lifecycle considerations.
- Proficient in the use of various computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Demonstrated experience with any or all of the following: Maximo, Asset Works, Esri Arc GIS, Oracle, OGNOS, SAP, BIM, CAD, RFID, SNMP, GPS enabled handheld/tablet.
- A valid driver's license is strongly preferred.
- Understanding the Agency's asset management plan and maintenance strategy and their relation to maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of Port Authority policies, the business planning process, and the Port Authority budget process.
Non-Technology Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to make concise presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a diverse workforce with varying work backgrounds, expertise, and levels.
Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
