    What you'll do:

    • Operate material handling equipment in various warehouse areas:
    • Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator: Operate equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move products weighing up to 100 lbs within the warehouse while following safety procedures.
    • Warehouse Porter: Responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility while ensuring safety. Operate material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse following safety guidelines.
    • Warehouse Replenishment: Use material handling equipment to pick and move products within the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.
    • Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies, and damages. Unload trucks, palletize products, and operate material handling equipment to move products safely.
    • Warehouse Returns: Move products within the warehouse, match item quantities and descriptions, check returned products, and tag them correctly using material handling equipment.

    Please note that as an SC2 associate, you may be assigned to any of the roles above, or SC1 roles based on requirements.

    You play a crucial role in the success of Staples Supply Chain as we serve our customers.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Be certified to operate Material Handling Equipment safely.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
    • Collaborate inclusively with colleagues and customers to build strong relationships and resolve issues together.
    • Quickly adapt to safety procedures and ensure safe work practices.
    • Work comfortably in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

    What's required- Basic Qualifications:

    • Pass a drug screening where legally permissible.
    • Basic English proficiency for verbal and written communication.
    • If hired as Full-Time, be willing to work additional hours as necessary.
    • Comfortable working at heights when needed.
    • Lift and move boxes/merchandise weighing 70-100 pounds manually.
    • Stand and walk 100% of the time.
    • Minimum age of 18.

    What's desired- Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least three months of experience in a warehouse setting, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
    • High School Diploma/GED or relevant work experience.
    • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers is advantageous.
