Job Overview:
Duties:
- Direct traffic at construction sites by signaling with hand and flag signals.
- Control the flow of traffic to protect workers, equipment, and the public.
- Set up traffic cones, signs, and barricades to redirect traffic when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with construction crews to coordinate traffic flow.
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in traffic control or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of utility locating, loader operation, backhoe operation, and other heavy equipment operations is a plus.
- Ability to build, operate Caterpillar machinery, pave roads, operate front loader trucks, grade surfaces, bulldoze areas, and drive dump trucks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

From $15.45 per hour
