ChildLife Essentials is a fast-growing company in the El Segundo, CA area looking for a Material Handler to join our team.

The Material Handler 1 moves products in the warehouse, either manually or using equipment such as hand trucks or forklifts.

Their responsibilities may include pulling inventory and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders, and load/unloading trucks

• Monday to Friday (8:30am 4:30pm)
• Fulltime (35hour week)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Identify and label materials and record necessary documentation.
• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and staging in outbound locations.
• Operate trucks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment to move freight.
• Perform and report cycle counts.
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
• General housekeeping.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact well with coworkers and other department personnel.
• Other duties as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Material Handler shall be exposed to conditions as expected in a typical warehouse setting, to include exposure to vapors and herbal aromas, as well as moderate noise levels, and may be regularly required to:

• Stand for prolonged periods of time, including during the performance of normal work functions, while operating a forklift, or while performing maintenance duties involving the use of a ladder.
• Sit and perform work in front of a computer, RF device including basic computer skills.
• Perform standing, twisting, bending, crawling, climbing, etc. motions as necessitated during the performance of facility maintenance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job in a satisfactory manner, the Warehouse Assistant shall have:

• At least two years in a warehouse environment, preferably in a GMP regulated environment in the food, pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or nutraceutical industry.
