What to expect:



In the constantly growing market of electrification of drive concepts in the automotive sector, you will develop functions for battery management of electrochemical high-voltage storage systems. These functions range from state estimators and monitoring algorithms to interface and component integration, and you will oversee them throughout the entire V-model:

  • Design of functional concepts in coordination with interface partners and taking into account existing system requirements, constraints, and causal chains
  • Creation of requirement proposals for the respective concept and coordination with the requirements manager
  • Coordination/monitoring of implementation in the Simulink software environment and functional validation
  • Commissioning and application of functionality in the finished control unit software on HIL, storage, or vehicle
  • Maintenance of topic-specific functional documentation

What you bring:

  • Completed degree in electrical and information technology, vehicle engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
  • First professional experience (internship, thesis, etc.) in the field of model-based function development or control engineering, preferably in the automotive industry, is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of battery technology/electrochemical storage technology, CAN bus communication, and/or functional safety according to ISO26262
