Midland Machinists learn the skill of manufacturing complex turned parts on CNC machining centers.

Whether it's a single part or a series product, each component is created from raw material according to drawing specifications.

Midland Machinists provide the basic building blocks that will later be assembled into highly precise Franke lightweight bearings and linear systems.

Training duration: 3.5 years


Training focuses:

  • Extensive basic training in metal processing
  • Production of parts for fixtures, testing and prototype parts
  • Turning, milling and grinding on CNC machines
  • Rotation through different departments

Requirements:

  • Good completion of general or vocational school
  • Cooperation and teamwork skills
  • Technical understanding
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Spatial imagination
